Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

All products sold by Dropship Print are custom made to order using the specifications, selections, and artwork provided at the time of order.

Because our products are custom produced, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for:

  • change of mind
  • incorrect product, size, colour, or variant selected at the time of order
  • errors in artwork, spelling, grammar, layout, positioning, or design supplied or approved by the customer
  • low-resolution, low-quality, or unsuitable files supplied by the customer
  • minor colour or finish variations that are consistent with normal printing and manufacturing tolerances
  • delivery delays outside our reasonable control

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Product quality and acceptable variations

We take reasonable care to ensure all products are produced to a commercially acceptable standard for custom printed goods.

Due to the nature of custom printing, reasonable variations may occur between digital proofs, screen displays, mock-ups, and final printed products. Variations in colour, tone, brightness, contrast, alignment, scale, placement, texture, and finish can occur due to differences in screens, substrates, inks, presses, and production processes.

These types of minor variations are not considered defects where the product remains fit for purpose and materially consistent with the order placed.

Customer responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that all order details are correct before production begins, including:

  • product type and variant
  • spelling and grammar
  • artwork content and layout
  • image resolution and quality
  • colour choices and design selections
  • delivery details

Where a proof or preview is provided, approval confirms that all details are correct and accepted for production. Products manufactured in accordance with an approved proof are not considered faulty.

We are not responsible for errors that were supplied by you or approved by you prior to production.

Claims for faulty or incorrect goods

If you believe a product is faulty, damaged, or incorrectly produced, you must contact us within 48 hours of recorded delivery and provide:

  • your order number
  • a description of the issue
  • clear photographs showing the product and the alleged fault
  • any other information reasonably requested by us to assess the claim

Claims made outside this timeframe may be declined to the extent permitted by law, particularly where delay makes fair assessment difficult.

Assessment standard

Claims are assessed under normal viewing conditions and by reference to industry standards for custom printed products. As a guide, minor imperfections that are not readily noticeable at a normal viewing distance of approximately 50–60 cm, and which do not materially affect the product’s appearance, function, or saleability, will generally not be treated as defects.

Remedies under Australian Consumer Law

If a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law, we will provide a remedy as required by law.

Where there is a major failure, you may be entitled to a replacement or refund.

Where there is a minor failure, we may choose to repair the product, replace the product, or otherwise remedy the issue within a reasonable time.

Returns process

Do not return any item without prior written approval from us.

If we approve a return, we will provide return instructions. Products returned without approval may be refused.

Where a return is required because of our error or a confirmed fault, we will advise whether return postage will be covered or reimbursed.

Where a return is not required by law, any return postage and associated costs remain your responsibility.

Business customers and resellers

If you purchase from us for resale, fulfilment, or supply to your own customer, you are responsible for your own product descriptions, advertising claims, end-customer communications, and any representations you make to your customers.

We are not responsible for claims arising from any description, promise, representation, or guarantee made by you that goes beyond our own written terms or the Australian Consumer Law.

Consumer guarantee notice

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
